The Yoga science Department was established in July 2018 and started P.G.Diploma in Yoga Science in 2018 & M.A./M.Sc.in Yoga Science started in 2020 and started B.A/B.SC.in Yoga Science program in 2022 .And Department got its own building in 2022. The minimum qualification required for admission is (10+2) Intermediate (science/ commerce /humanities) in BA./B.Sc Yoga science & Graduation(science/ commerce /humanities) in MA/M.Sc Yoga science. The course structures of all have been designed by incorporating the recommendations of the U.G.C. Model Syllabi of new education policy (NEP), and also keeping in view the increasing demand of Yoga.

Yoga is essential spiritual aspect of life .It shows essential unity that is basic to the life .The philosophy of yoga is practical & applicable in our day to day life .The practice of yoga is a process of self discovery & self-enlightenment .It is an awakening of long deep rooted memories of what we really are & whom & why we are here in this world .Yoga is an Indian philosophical system. The great sage Patanjali, the founder of yoga philosophy, described the different forms of yoga The Eight limbs are described in detail, the various practices of yoga such as Yama, Niyama Asana, Pranayama,Pratyahara,Dharna,Dhyana and Samadhi are very effective for the development of the whole body, a healthy mind in a healthy body is the practical aspect of yoga. There are various methods in yoga to improve various aspects of human life .Everyone is adopting yoga to improve his miserable and almost destroyed evolutionary lifestyle in todays modern world . Yoga practice is being used for treating many types of physical & mental disorders.There is no treatment of these in modern treatment methods.With the increasing demand of Yoga ,it is necessary to provide theoretical & applied yoga training to the students. After successful training, the students Would be able to teach Yoga in the society in a scientific way. & would also be able to manage their own training & wellness centers all over India and abroad.

AIMS-

1. to promote positive health and spiritual aspects of individuals by the practice of yoga and to make aware of the importance of yoga in disease prevention and promotion of health & happiness.

2. Its goal is to develop the spiritual knowledge of yoga on the basis of classical texts on scientific basis.  Yoga with a view to the holistic development and development of the students along with the well being of the general public.

3. The basic purpose of yoga aims to aware the students to the basic principles of ancient texts of India related to health sciences.

4. To develop employment prospects by establishing their own training centers as self employment and promote health consciousness among the public.

5. To establish peace and prosperity among all.

6. The aim of the yoga courses is to prepare trained manpower fully equipped with knowledge and skills for treatment of diseases and train yoga practices and to improve the overall health in all manifestations with the help of yoga.
