Department- Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

An Instrumentation engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. Instrumentation engineers make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
Instrumentation engineering program is a blend of applied physics and electronics which comprises of analog and digital electronics, power electronics, microprocessors and their applications, computer programming, electronic instrumentation, process instrumentation and control, linear and non-linear control and bio-medical engineering.
It caters to the need of chemical, fertilizer, petrochemical, oil and refinery, power, textile, plastic, automobile, agriculture, dairy, food processing and manufacturing industries. It also covers robotics, navigation, aerospace and military applications. The under graduate programme of this department is well appreciated and students are well accepted by the industries. It has state of the art laboratories, which provide an excellent environment to increase the practical understanding of the subject.
